"Conch Town Houses" now available in Port Aransas, Texas
Alex Harris, Owner of Brite Star Construction began searching for a new style of townhome that would be unique to Port Aransas and Mustang Island. After visiting Sea Side, Destine, Rose Mary Beach and Water Color, Alex still had not found just right product for this development. But, after taking a trip down to the Keys and spending hours walking the streets of Key West taking several hundred pictures, he found an idea that he thought would work. Together with Jon Hall, owner of Prime Design Group they came up with--the Conch House Style Town Home. These new "Conch Town Houses" combine all the features of a cottage style Key West Conch house with the openness of a garden home, but they have added affordability of town home construction. The "Conch Town House" was first built on North Padre Island and was named after the Marquesas Islands (just south of Key West). At the Marquesas Islands, the Gulf of Mexico meets the Atlantic Ocean and these two great bodies of waters create world class fishing, sailing, diving and other water activites. The Marquesas Islands are also known for its pirate activities in the early 1900's. Alex named this new product: Pirates Bay Townhomes, where a Garden Home meets a Town Home. Just like in the Marquesas Islands..... Port Aransas has world class fishing, sailing, diving and other outdoor water activities.
